Q: What should I write about for Say It Today?
A: We publish thematic messages about gratitude, living eulogies, tributes, memorials, love, and more. Maybe you want to thank someone, honor them, or tell them you're sorry? If you think someone is awesome, you can write to them here.
Q: When my writing is published at Say It Today, how do I share it with someone else?
A: Each published piece in the Gallery has a unique link. Select the piece and then select the three vertical dots on the upper right. Next you'll have an option to "Share Post." You can also copy/paste the URL.
Q: What kind of writing should I submit?
A: You can write in whatever form you like, such as prose or poetry, essay or song, letter or memo.
Q: Can I write to someone who's not human? Can I write about a thing or an idea I'm grateful for?
A: Absolutely! You can express a message about and to someone (human or any animal) or to something, concrete or abstract.
Q: How long should my writing be?
A: We recommend between 100 and 500 words.
Q: Do I have to put the name of the person I’m writing to?
A: We think it's nice to name the person your writing is for or about, but that's up to you.
Q: What if I want to write anonymously?
A: If you'd like to be anonymous, please tell us when you submit your writing.
Q: Can my writing be humorous?
A: Humor can be a way to honor someone.
